The National Activity Conference returns on Friday 22 January 2027 at Hunton Park, Kings Langley.
This year’s theme is The Great Outdoors, with a day filled with practical ideas, inspiring speakers, interactive workshops and opportunities to connect with Activity Providers from across the sector.
Delegates will explore:
- Nature and wellbeing
- Gardens, growing and allotments
- Outdoor connection for people living with dementia
- Intergenerational activity
- Bringing the outside in
- International approaches to outdoor activity provision
The developing programme includes contributions from Dementia Adventure, Alive Activities, Freddie’s Flowers, NaDCAS, NAPA and Colleen Keegan from the National Association of Activity Professionals in the United States.
Alongside the main programme, delegates can enjoy exhibitor stands, poster presentations, networking, nature-inspired experiences and a special performance from the Runwood Homes Group Choir.
The conference will also see the launch of a new NAPA publication edited by Hilary Woodhead:

Copies will be available to purchase throughout the day, with book signings during the breaks and lunch.
