Introduction

This report captures the voices of young adults aged 16–29 as part of the development of NAPA’s National Intergenerational Activity and Engagement Standards for Care Homes. Through creative consultation, participants explored connection, belonging, shared interests, communication, safety and what can help relationships between generations develop naturally. Their feedback highlights the importance of reciprocity, individual choice, appropriate boundaries and creating opportunities that work for younger and older people alike.
