NAPA is looking for an experienced and relationship-focused Fundraising Officer to join us in a brand new role. You will help develop and deliver our fundraising activity, building community fundraising, individual giving and supporter engagement while creating the systems and processes needed to support future growth. This is a part-time, home-based, 18-month fixed-term role with the opportunity to shape fundraising at NAPA from the ground up.

Help us build the next stage of fundraising at NAPA

NAPA is looking for an experienced, creative and relationship-focused Fundraising Officer to join our team in a brand new role.

As our first dedicated Fundraising Officer, you will take day-to-day responsibility for developing and delivering NAPA’s fundraising activity.

This is an opportunity to help build something from the ground up, developing community fundraising, individual giving and supporter engagement and creating new opportunities for people and organisations to support NAPA’s work.

You will also help establish the practical systems, processes and ways of working needed to support our fundraising as it grows.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and deliver NAPA’s community fundraising programme.
  • Plan and deliver fundraising campaigns, appeals and activities throughout the year.
  • Establish and grow opportunities for individual giving, including regular and one-off donations.
  • Develop Friends of NAPA and other supporter initiatives.
  • Recruit, support and build relationships with community fundraisers and supporters.
  • Create fundraising toolkits, resources and supporter communications.
  • Develop supporter journeys that encourage ongoing engagement and giving.
  • Identify opportunities for challenge events, community fundraising and participation activities.
  • Research suitable trust and foundation opportunities and prepare funding applications where appropriate.
  • Identify opportunities for corporate and employee fundraising.
  • Establish practical fundraising systems and processes.
  • Monitor fundraising activity and income against agreed targets and report on performance.

We’re Looking For Someone Who

  • Has practical fundraising experience and can demonstrate experience of generating income.
  • Has experience of developing and delivering fundraising or supporter campaigns.
  • Is confident building relationships with donors, supporters, fundraisers and partners.
  • Is an excellent communicator with strong people skills.
  • Is organised, proactive and comfortable taking responsibility for their own area of work.
  • Can turn ideas into practical fundraising activity.
  • Is comfortable working in a developing fundraising environment.
  • Is interested in NAPA’s work and understands the importance of meaningful activity and engagement in care and support.
  • Is excited by the opportunity to develop a brand new fundraising role.

You do not need to have experience of every area of fundraising. We are particularly interested in candidates with strong practical fundraising experience who are confident building relationships, developing new activity and generating income.

Why Join NAPA?

You will be joining a small, supportive and collaborative team and taking on a role where you can genuinely shape how fundraising develops.

As NAPA’s first dedicated Fundraising Officer, you will have the opportunity to bring your own experience, ideas and creativity to the role while helping us develop sustainable income to support our work.

The role is home-based and NAPA will provide the equipment needed to work effectively.
