The register reflects the commitment of the individual Activity Provider, not the policies, staffing levels, resources or culture of their employing organisation. Activity Providers are expected to work towards best practice within the limits of their role, influence and workplace environment.
As a Registered Activity Provider you agree to:

Any decision will consider context, including the individual’s role, level of influence and workplace environment. NAPA recognises that not all aspects of practice are within an Activity Provider’s control.
Activity Provider registration is separate from NAPA membership. Registered Activity Provider status is distinct from membership and is not an accreditation of practice or service quality. Activity Providers and care services may choose to become NAPA members to access additional organisational benefits.

No, this is a professional register for individuals.
While NAPA registration is not a requirement of the regulators, it demonstrates a commitment to providing meaningful activities and maintaining professional standards. We encourage Activity Providers to share their NAPA registration with care services, as it can provide evidence of their dedication to quality, person-centred engagement and ongoing professional development.
During inspections, care providers may wish to highlight that they work with NAPA registered Activity Providers as part of their approach to delivering high-quality, enriching activities. Registration can therefore support the evidence of good practice and a commitment to wellbeing and quality of life.

As a charity, NAPA is committed to making professional recognition accessible. Please help us raise the profile of wellbeing and engagement, support the workforce, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of the people and communities we serve.
